I had a patient, a 25 year old car accident victim. When I received this patient he had been in a coma for 2 years, was on a respirator, had a tracheostomy, had a gastric feeding tube, and a catheter to collect his urine.
The doctors told us he would stay on the respirator until he died...BUT GOD SAY IT DIFFERENTLY....
This guy came out of the coma, was weaned from the respirator, was weaned from the tracheostomy, started eating and had the feeding tube taken out, started urinating on his own and had the urinary catheter taken out. He got physical therapy and started walking...
He walked out of the hospital with only the use of a cane. He had no cognitive problems. His brain was as normal as mine and yours.
DON'T TELL ME WHAT GOD CAN'T DO!!!!
